Hopefully this picture does our tree justice. Because we have high ceilings, we decided to get an 8 1/2 foot tree. After a little issue with the lights, we got it decorated today and it looks beautiful. I love the smell of a real Christmas tree. That's one thing I missed while living in apartments...no real trees.
I love being a homeowner!

I'm definitely missing my Christmas tree this year! It just doesn't seem like Christmas without one :( Next year I'll have to get an extra big one to make up for it Ü
